Margam Orangery, Port Talbot

Margam Orangery in Margam Park is an 18th century building situated not too far outside Port Talbot. Margam Park has some lovely gardens and scenery for fantastic photograph opportunities. The Orangery is the single longest of its kind in the British Isles and where it was once used for growing exotic plants, it is now used as a function venue for weddings and corporate events.

The building is split into two by a huge glass wall. Without it, the Orangery would be a pretty overwhelming space!

With the room being so large, it’s important to carry the right audio equipment. For this venue, I have used a combination of high power, high quality speakers making up a 6000W system. This sounded fantastic from the front of the dance floor all the way to the back of the room – the high quality speakers used by us at weddings in South Wales means that they can be loud without hurting your ears.
